转：Birmingham International Summer School 2016

The University of Birmingham launched its Birmin! gham International Summer School (BISS) 2016 earlier this year. We are delighted to see that applications from international students across the world are coming in for BISS.

This is a gentle reminder for interested students of the key application dates:

    * Early application deadline: 31 March 2016 (Applicants who apply before 31 March 2016 will be eligible for a discount of ?150 towards fees)
    * BISS application deadline: 22 May 2016

There are five programmes on offer in 2016 including three new programmes as follows:

    * British Cultural Heritage Programme
    * Mathematical Finance and Financial Time Series Analysis
    * Film & Media (NEW)
    * Global Energy System s – P ower ing the Future (NEW)
    * Biomedical Sciences: From Labor! atory Bench to Hospital Bedside (NEW)

All programmes are delivered by University faculty who are experts in their field. Where programmes are formally assessed students will have the opportunity to earn credits for their study. Students will also have the opportunity to gain a valuable insight into the fascinating culture of Britain through an extensive social programme.

The programme dates of the International Summer School are: 18 July–5 August 2016.
