莫家豪

莫家豪教授现任香港岭南大学副校长。此前任职香港教育学院比较政策讲座教授,同时担任该校副校长(研究与发展)及大中华研究中心总监。

加入香港教育学院前,莫教授是香港大学社会科学学院副院长和社会政策教授。任职香港大学前,莫教授受聘於英国布里斯托大学,领导创办东亚研究中心和担任东亚研究讲座教授。 莫教授是一位活跃於学术界不同领域的学者,当­更是醉心於社会学、政治科学、公共及社会行政研究,近年专注研究有关东亚地区和中国内地社会发展和政策研究。

莫教授凭藉其在比较教育及东亚研究学的卓越成就,在国家教育部公布的2009年度“长江学者奖励计划”入选名单中,获选为长江学者讲座教授。

莫教授在比较教育政策、比较发展与政策研究及中国与东亚当代社会发展的范畴中均著作甚丰,他对社会变迁及教育政策范畴上研究更作出了多方面的贡献,以奠定他在这些领域的领导地位。

莫教授亦担任了不同的出版委员会及学术组织的成员,进一步确立了他在国际学术圈的成就;他是《Journal of Asian Public Policy》和 《Comparative Development and Policy in Asia Book Series》的创刊和丛书的主编。

莫教授积极参与社会服务,担任世界银行及联合国儿童基金会的国际顾问,与上述组织於比较发展与政策研究的计划上有紧密合作;此外,莫教授亦曾获香港特别行政区政府中央政策组委任为非全职顾问。
