Brantly Womack

布兰德利•沃马克现任弗吉尼亚大学伍德罗•威尔逊政治科学系教授、弗吉尼亚大学国际事务教授,曾担任弗吉尼亚大学国际事务规划委员会主席、弗吉尼亚大学亚洲与中东语言文化部主席、弗吉尼亚大学东亚中心主任、北伊利诺伊大学政治学教授。此外,还在中国大陆、中国香港、美国加尼福尼亚大学等地学术机构获得许多荣誉职位。

    沃马克教授为国际著名学者,对于推动中美两国学术交流也作出过重要贡献。2011年9月访问北京,受到温家宝总理的接见。沃马克教授的学术研究主要集中在当代中国政治领域,尤其是毛泽东思想研究和改革开放以来的中国政治。其出版的《中国政治》、《毛泽东政治思想的基础》等著作在中国产生了较大的影响。
